How we compare and where our data comes from
- Credit cards
- Fees, minimum salary, reward rates and benefits come from each bank's published card terms. Category pages sort cards by headline reward rate; card reviews are generated from the same data, so every card is described the same way. Always confirm current terms with the bank before applying.
- Money transfers
- We compare what your recipient actually gets for a fixed AED amount after fees and exchange-rate margin, not the headline rate. Quotes from providers that publish them online (such as Remitly, TapTapSend, Western Union, Careem Pay, Botim, e& money and Aspora) are collected automatically; others are checked manually. Comparison pages refresh every 15 minutes.
- Exchange rates
- Mid-market reference rates from ExchangeRate-API, which publishes new rates once a day. Providers and banks add a margin, so the rate you get will be slightly lower.
- Gold prices
- International spot prices from gold-api.com, refreshed every 5 minutes and converted to AED per gram by karat with a small retail premium. Souk and jeweller prices also include making charges.
- Crypto and stocks
- Crypto prices from CoinGecko and DFM/ADX prices from TradingView, refreshed every 5 minutes.
- Fuel prices
- The official monthly UAE retail fuel prices announced by the Fuel Price Committee, updated at the start of each month.
Affiliate links never change the order of a list. Where a card or provider has no affiliate link, it is still listed on the same terms.
